Climate Change
Shibogama First Nations Council - Technical Services is in partnership with Laurentian University (UpNorth On Climate) and five other tribal councils within our region through the BRACE (Building Regional Adaptation Capacity and Experience) project. Purpose of project is to develop and build climate change adaptation capacity and expertise in targeted topic areas to enable adaptation action and enhance climate resilience.
Climate Change Impacts and Adaptation
Climate Change Adaptation quick guide , developed by UpNorth on Climate in collaboration with Shibogama and other tribal councils, is a useful resource for our communities to utilize as they think about ways to adapt and prepare their community by the impacts of climate change.
