Management of Previously Cleared Cases with New Positive Results
The Sioux Lookout First Nations Health Authority (SLFNHA) is aware that confirmed cases may continue to test positive with COVID PCR testing, even after clearance from isolation and/or after receiving negative results, for several weeks to months after infection. Persistent detection greater than 4 months from initial positive result has been reported in Ontario.
